Japanese Military Uniform Photographic Collection Volumn 1
This book had a private limited printing in Japan and documents the personal collections of the group's members and is not sold commercially through bookstores. Copies do become available in Japan and can sometimes be obtained on a Japanese auction or on eBay. Although the book is written entirely in Japanese, the time taken in obtaining a copy and the cost, which can be expensive, is truly worth the effort.
Japanese Uniforms Including Army and Navy Ranks, Corps and Insignia
This 20 page pamphlet was printed for the military in March of 1943 and is a valuable record of Japanese army and navy rank insignia known to that date. This booklet consists entirely of drawings and contains the names of ranks in English and Japanese including period kanji and shows many insignia that are not shown in modern publications. The booklet comes on legal size paper and a copy of the original booklet is available from White Tiger Military for $20.00 to cover the cost of copies and mailing.
